About Me

Venus Liles, business attorney and founder of Liles Law, in Raleigh, NC.

I’ve seen business law from every angle.

I started my career at a law firm advising multi-million-dollar companies, then spent 12 years as in-house counsel for a global software company. Along the way, I saw how much good legal strategy matters, and how rarely founders get access to it.

So I started Liles Law as a side hustle. For eight years, it grew by word of mouth, until founders were referring founders faster than my evenings could keep up. That’s when I went all in.

I’m an entrepreneur too. I’ve launched everything from software platforms to pop-up dance parties, so I know the excitement, the risk, and the 2 a.m. “what ifs” firsthand.

Now I bring big-company legal experience to founders and small business owners, so you can build with confidence and sleep better at night.
